If you have been receiving the MySQL "table damaged" errors, there may be an easy way to restore them. I have written this PHP script for anyone to use and distribute that will fix any damaged table. Simply drop it in a directory like your phpBB directory, load it with your web browser, enter the required information, and press submit. It should try to connect to the database and repair the table. Only do this if you know *exactly* what you are doing. I don't know what side effects it might have. Hopefully, if nothing is wrong, it will just ignore the request.

That brings me to my second point. Only run this script if you know exactly what it does, or you have been asked to run it by a support team member. Use it at your own risk; the phpBB Group is not responsible for any damage it may cause.

Simply rename this to fix_table.php and upload.
