 How to submit a MOD to the MOD database

Before submission, you probably want to read up some documentations concerning MOD validation, which can be found in MOD Authors Support Forum => Important/General MOD Information for Authors

When you think it's ready to be submitted:
  1. Go to the MOD database by clicking on the icon Mods on the top of the forum
  2. Then click on MODS-Database
  3. Depending on the type of MOD you developed, choose a category that best suit its function
  4. Now, you will see a link called Add Link (somewhere at the left-middle of the page), that's where to enter the MOD submission page
  5. You will be presented with a submission form, where you enter information such as:
    • MOD Name: [ Enters the MOD's name, this will be the topic name once the MOD is approved. ]
    • MOD Description: [ Enters the MOD's description, this description will display inside the released topic. ]
    • MOD Version: [ This is the MOD's verion, it has to be at least 1.0.0 for MOD team to approve it. ]
    • Installation Level: Easy / Intermediate / Advanced [ How easy is the MOD installation process. ]
    • Installation Time: ~ x Minute [ How long it takes to installed your MOD manually. ]
    • Private Message To MOD-Team (if any): [ This is optional and will NOT display in the released MOD topic once it is approved ]
    • Has This MOD Already Been Released Within The phpBB MOD Database?: No / Yes [ You need to give this information correctly ]
    • If Yes To Above, What Is The URL?: [ This has to be a URL to a topic inside the MOD Release Announcements & Support forum, MOD team sometimes found authors provide links to their private forums, or links to the MOD database, which are NOT correct. ]
    • Is This Upload To Correct A Denied MOD?: No / Yes [ Again, provide this information correctly. ]
    • Download File: [ Upload your MOD in .mod or .zip format. ]

  6. When you enter all the necessary information, just press Submit and your MOD will be added to the validation queue Exclamation
