When backing up your database, whether it be by phpMyAdmin or phpBB, selecting either structure only, data only or structure and data can be important. Below is a quick explanation of the three, which I hope will help you decide which is best for you;

Structure Only
If you selected structure only, then you will not have any member information, posts etc, it will just set up empty tables, which is a waste of time since phpBB does that automatically on its install page.

Data Only
If you selected data only, then run the phpBB install script and get your website set up, then restore your database. Data holds the member information, posts etc.

Structure and Data
Structure and data creates the required phpBB tables and puts the data inside of them (member information, posts etc) as the name suggests.
