Please reply!
After a bit of editing and fiddling about, I've enabled guest posting so you can reply!
You'll be required, though, to enter in a confirm code to make sure you're not a bot. Shouldn't be a problem for anyone though
So, I request of you, once you've read this, just drop a reply. If you post regulary, why not register?

Problems
Hi neothermic
I've tried to register with your forum twice but have not yet received an email to validate my registration - I think there may be a problem with this.
Anyway the reason for my message is to ask for a bit of advice. I noticed in one of your posts on phpBB that you mentioned you had set up Googlebot as an actual user on your forum so that you were able to assign group memberships etc. to it. If you would be able to explain to me how I could do this I would be extremely grateful.
PS. looking forward to seeing the finished version of the site

If you say your nickname you attempted, I'll enable you.
As for the modfiication to allow bots, thats stalled a bit due to the fact the original code was developed on a 2.0.11 codebase; recent updates have affected what my code changes and things sorta stopped. I'll be resuming it soon during the holidays though, so I'm looking (and hoping) to have it released before the 10th April.
As for the finished version of this site? We shall see

Hey, just thought i'd offer my 2 cents worth ;)
Come across your site within the phpBB community, just thought i'd offer my opinions being a web designer myself. I know this is a beta version so i've only higlighted the major mistakes.
1. The google ads u have on the home page open in the same window, not very good on the eyes
2. On opening your forum I noticed I have to scroll to the right in 1024x768 and below, very very bad design practice.
3. On opening phpBB page doesn't validate although u have the icon stating it does.
4. On the home page constantly get a script error.
Hope this helps
